Garlic Chicken Stir Fry

Garlic Chicken Stir Fry — it's a family favourite!

 

Ingredients:

(450g boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 capsicum, thinly sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 carrot, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooked rice, for serving

Directions:

1. In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

3. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until it's no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Once the chicken is cooked through, add the sliced capsicum, broccoli florets, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.

4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the garlic chicken stir-fry hot with cooked rice.
