Low Carb Thai Lettuce Wraps

A tasty low-carb dinner that is quick to make. Enjoy the satisfying crunch of refreshing lettuce mixed with saucy beef. Yum!

Ingredients:

450g lean ground beef
1 red onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon ginger, minced
1/4 tsp chili flakes
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 Tablespoon sesame oil
1 head of lettuce, leaves separated

Optional garnishes: chopped cilantro, sliced green onions, lime wedges

Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.

2. Add the minced red onion, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the onion is soft.

3. Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil, cooking for another minute until everything is well combined.

4. Spoon the beef mixture into the center of each lettuce leaf. Garnish with cilantro, green onions, and a squeeze of lime juice if desired.

Serve immediately, allowing guests to wrap the lettuce around the filling.
