Low Carb Keto Turmeric Treats
With all the goodness of turmeric, these sweet treats use sugar-free alternatives to prevent a spike in blood glucose levels, to help you maintain a keto or low-carb lifestyle.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp of hemp seeds (optional)
- 3 Tbsp of nut butter e.g Almond Butter, Cashew Butter, or Macadamia butter
- 1 tsp liquid stevia, monk fruit extract, or keto sweetener of your choice
- 1 cup shredded coconut flakes (unsweetened)
- 3 tsp coconut oil
- 1 scoop of bone broth protein powder
Method
- Placed the turmeric and protein powder in a large bowl.
- Blend together coconut flakes, nut butter, coconut oil, and liquid stevia (or keto sweetener) in a food processor until smooth and creamy.
- Add the mixture to your dry ingredients and mix well into a crumbly batter.
- Line a baking tray with a sheet of baking paper.
- Use the mixture to roll together 6 even balls of dough (press together firmly so that the crumbly texture holds together) and place on the lined baking tray.
- Set in the fridge for 40 minutes until firm.
- Enjoy your no-bake turmeric treats.
