Low Carb Keto Turmeric Treats

With all the goodness of turmeric, these sweet treats use sugar-free alternatives to prevent a spike in blood glucose levels, to help you maintain a keto or low-carb lifestyle. 

Ingredients 

  • 1 Tbsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp of hemp seeds (optional)
  • 3 Tbsp of nut butter e.g Almond Butter, Cashew Butter, or Macadamia butter
  • 1 tsp liquid stevia, monk fruit extract, or keto sweetener of your choice
  • 1 cup shredded coconut flakes (unsweetened)
  • 3 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 scoop of bone broth protein powder

Method

  1. Placed the turmeric and protein powder in a large bowl.

  2. Blend together coconut flakes, nut butter, coconut oil, and liquid stevia (or keto sweetener) in a food processor until smooth and creamy. 
  3. Add the mixture to your dry ingredients and mix well into a crumbly batter.
  4. Line a baking tray with a sheet of baking paper.
  5. Use the mixture to roll together 6 even balls of dough (press together firmly so that the crumbly texture holds together) and place on the lined baking tray.
  6. Set in the fridge for 40 minutes until firm. 
  7. Enjoy your no-bake turmeric treats.
