Bloat Busting Pineapple & Ginger Wellness Shots

Beat the bloat with these quick and easy wellness shots. Pineapple, mint, and ginger are amazing for improving digestion and keeping that bloat at bay!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 of a ripe pineapple
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 5cm of fresh ginger root
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 450mL of Coconut Water

Makes approx 800mL so you can prepare ahead of time and enjoy 1-2 shots of these after a meal, or as required.

Instructions:

  1. Remove the skin and rind from your pineapple, and cut the fruit into chunks.
  2. Gently scrape the skin off the ginger root with a spoon, then wash and cut into chunks.
  3. Place your pineapple and ginger into a high-speed blender with the juice of one lemon and your coconut water. Give it a whizz!
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove the pulp (or if you prefer pulpy juice, remove as much of the pulp as you like to get the drink texture you prefer).
  5. Consume 1-2 shots (approx 50ml per serving) with meals. Store the rest in a sealed glass jar in the fridge for up to 3 days (or 30 days in the freezer).
